Rev. Garth Brokaw

On March 5, 2009, the Rev. Garth E. Brokaw completed 30 years of ministry at Fairport Baptist Homes Caring Ministries. For the past 20 years, Brokaw has served as the president and CEO, having started with the organization as chaplain followed by eight years as assistant administrator and director of resident services. 

Brokaw graduated from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas, with a bachelor's degree in sociology, and Colgate Rochester Divinity School in Rochester, New York, with a master's degree in theology and a Master's of Divinity degree. He has also done additional graduate work at Andover Newton Theological School and Northwestern Illinois University. 

Brokaw is a licensed nursing home administrator, NYS, is a certified assisted housing manager, holds a certificate in fundraising management from the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, is a graduate of the Brookdale Dementia Training Institute, a program facilitator for the Vocation of the Trustee series, CFBL, and is a peer reviewer for the EAGLE program. He is an ordained American Baptist minister in the American Baptist Churches of Michigan.
